I like the idea in the bathroom as well as the kitchen. I'd even consider it framing a bed. My husband can't function with deep shelving and needs shallow shelving. He can't see what is behind the first row. A lot of people are like that. These are great fixes for those people and I don't have any problem with using them even though I can imagine what is behind the first row by how I store things.

We used the lower cabinet version (not pantry height) for our bar. It is a standard offering from many cabinet companies. Works great BUT bottles are heavy. So make sure you either limit your bottles (no fun) or get upgraded, heavy-duty hardware.

Yes , that pull out would be SUPER heavy if full of liquor bottles !

Paula - Most drawer and pull-out hardware has a load rating associated with it. The load rating estimates how much weight the hardware can accommodate and still function properly. So I recommend estimating how much weight your liquor collection is (liquids + containers) and compare that to the load rating of the pull-out hardware you are evaluating. Your designer and/or cabinet fabricator might be able to help you configure a system to store and access your collection safely and conveniently.
