Looking for timber design for between louvre panels on deck surround

We want to put aluminium louvre panels up to surround our deck (similar to pic). Ideally they'd be along the whole thing as per the example pics, but the screens aren't the right size for the gaps.

Looking for ideas to fill the gaps with timber. The gap can fit 2 x 0.9m screens with a 250mm gap to fill, or 1 x 1.23m screen with 820mm to fill.

I've made some rough pics of ideas I've had and would love some feedback or different ideas. Thanks!!

You could build fixed louvered walls. There are some near us; I will see if I can get a photo. Was that picture window with the white paneling originally sliders or French doors? I'm thinking returning to that would be attractive and improve your indoor/outdoor connection.

Would you please share what the goal of this is? Privacy, wind, sun?

Because it's not an attractive solution as presented currently.

These are hinged Bahama Shutters but they attach to the structure so they cannot be blown off. Maybe they will provide you with some inspiration.

A less expensive option would be to use white Coolaroo roll down shades.

Am thinking that the blinds might be a better option as the Louvre panels might make your area into a long tunnel rather than a relaxing deck to enjoy.

It looks like the current structure needs maintenance. Are you planning to replace that? Make sure the new structure can handle the weight and wind of anything you want to add.

Why this ugly choice at all. We need to understand what the purpose os of closing off the view from and outdoor space . You want to mimic blinds that block the view and do it permanently I have no idea why. BTW you better also check about wind sound wind can do some really horrible things to places with slats cating the the wind just right fo a lovely howl . Please tell us what it is you ae trying to achieve

The purpose is mostly for privacy as the house is on a main road, and also to improve curb appeal as the house currently is a bit ugly.

We have looked at fabric shades but this is a high wind zone and I don't think they'd do well.

The Bahama shutters is the look I'm after, except closed. I'm not in the states so I can't get Bahama shutters.
