Extra large wall - how do I decorate?
This wall in our living room is 20x10. What is on the wall currently is way too small. I do not know how to decorate this wall. I love framed photos, maps (my husband is from Philly and I am from Baltimore) and mirrors. How do I incorporate these things? I am also open to other suggestions.
- the wall on the opposing wall is painted pewter
- the small white table against the wall is going away
- the dog is adorable
- I am not comfortable selecting bold/mix matched items
- I prefer symmetrical decor

2 years agoI am always pushing the paper tapestries from Anthropologie, they are HUGE and a total steal if budget is an issue
2 years agoI love BeverlyFLADeziners mock-up - particularly that floor lamp and the portrait grouping. I like your idea to use maps. If you find some you like, I’d incorporate the colors into the room with pillows and throws.
PRO2 years agoWe think you should just look at one large piece of artwork for over the sectional, one that includes the colors you have in the space already. If you end up posting more images of the space we might be able to help more, but currently we'd recommend removing what is there and placing one piece of artwork there instead.

PRO2 years agoWe might suggest looking at removing the mirror and framed pictures. Then looking at placing one or two piece of art, only over the sectional. It might look something like this:
