What does the back wall across from entry look like? Pics of entire room - all walls would help. If I were to create an accent wall in laundry, I’d want it to be the wall seen from the entry as one walks into the room & is also the most viewed wall from the hallway outside the laundry room. Not sure what you mean by multiple accent walls but I wouldn’t in a small space & I probably wouldn’t wallpaper a wall that’s usually hidden by doors standing open. If the ’back’ wall across from entry is empty or mostly empty & could be viewed & appreciated from outside your laundry I’d use the wallpaper on that wall & I’d paint all the other walls a color pulled from wallpaper. Then you have one ’accent’ wall & 3 walls that are a nice color that support the accent wall. I do have art hanging in my laundry - that’s something you could add here.

Why don’t you wallpaper the entire room?

Lots of doors in this room. Is this a pass thru room — basically, 2 exits? Before any wallpaper, do you have any plans for some upper cabinetry? The wire shelving isn’t be very preactical, Also, what is that inset area in the first picture?

Accent wall means that. If you want to wall paper the entire space--go for it. Half and half works too. It's a laundry room after all.

The wall opposite the doors isn't seen unless you're in the room so no need to accent that I wouldn't think. It also has a small lower alcove that I have no idea of the purpose. It's currently being used to hold a laundry basket.

I plan to put some cabinets in the room. I haven't decided about placement: above the appliances or the wall to the right. I'm short so above the appliances may not be easily accessible to me. I'll have to think about that.

I really appreciate the suggestion. I'll post photos once the project is complete.

Extra photos for reference. We replaced the wire shelving with solid shelves but I would rather have cabinets to at least keep the clutter behind doors.

There also a circuit box on the wall opposite the washer & dryer. We will alsi be replacing the washer and dryer with top loaders in a few months. This room is on the far side of the house between the main floor and the garage and playroom. The room is really only seen by those using it since it's on a far side of the house and we keep the door to it closed when guests are over.

rather than call attention to this with attempts to accentuate it, I would save the money for use elsewhere in your home.
