Living with dark floors? Easy or helacious?

I have two dogs and will always have two dogs. Live in a dusty region of CA. Hard to live with the very dark floors?

Yes, hard to live with, especially with dogs. Dirt and hair shows up easily so won't took clean unless constantly on top of it, and if it is stained wood, more likely to have visible scratches from claws.

We went with medium to light wood tile with mild amount of variation in color and patterns. Turned out great to live with! No scratches and fur is not visible.

Mine aren't even that dark and we bought a robotic vacuum/mop because they need to cleaned a lot to look clean!

I had a hallway with dark floors, 30 years old, that I detested❣️Last year I had them replaced with porcelain wood look tiles that do not show the dirt like the dark flooring. I have heard others post about not liking dark floors due to cleaning issues. best of luck in your choice❣️
