So i bought an older fixer upper house that had carpet in the bathroom which was disgusting and one of my first projects. i tore out rhe catpet only to find even older uglier carpet under it. Upon removing that i found a black, gritty tile that was crumbling. I have done alot of reading up and most of what i find suggests that asbestos tiles are primarily vinyl. Tiles are 12 x 12, about 1/8 and inch thick and gritty to the touch. Looking for advice from anyone wirh experience dwaling with asbestos? is it possible that these are? Because i would

like to remove them ideally as they have a musty smell, but obviously i cannot do that if they are. Any input or perspective is appreciated.
