Does outside drywall corner need tape or bead before tile?

This is not my project, but I’m curious what standard practice is…

The picture shows one of many outside drywall corners on a high-dollar project that the GC says he is going to leave unfinished. These walls are being tiled floor to ceiling, and he says that the unfinished corner is better for the tile install because it’s flatter than a beaded or taped corner. A roughly 1/2” Schluter profile will be used at each corner.

Should these outside corners be finished before the tile is installed?

No. Waste of time and potentially Increases work for tile installer. Why do you think it needs to be taped?

No. The corner beads can raise the corner edge. I assume this isn't a wet area.

These walls are not in a shower or wet room, but they are in bathrooms and a kitchen. This is a commercial project.

I don’t necessarily think it needs to be taped, hence why I’m asking the community here. I just haven’t seen this before and had trouble finding a specific answer elsewhere online. Most of the topics I found discuss a cement board to drywall corner, not drywall to drywall.
