So you're going for the British Colonial style for this room.

You can place a double dresser across from the bed and though you provided only severely distorted images of the room, it looks as though there might be room for two small nightstands on either side of the bed.

Do your bed posts provide you with the option to reduce the height of the posts at the footboard? I'd consider doing that.

Do you only have one piece to the set, or can you purchase or locate additional matching pieces? You could coordinate with some dark rattan-style furniture.

I would add drapery panels and a unique ceiling fan to the room.

You all are amazing! The room is pretty cramped, so I have trouble getting a full shot with the door on. So, is it okay to do all matching furniture in there? If not, adding a pine or distressed white, to blend more with the walls? I wasn't sure if I'd be putting too much black in there

It really is personal preference. I think all black is fine, and I think mixing it up is, too. :)

The room looks to be very light and airy, so if you like the look of all black, I don’t think it would be too much at all.

Again, the overall style you’re going for is the main factor.

How about you draw the room - walls windows, entry etc and add every single dimension? Upload the hugely informative drawing, with those feet and inches in a jpeg format below, bold neat and legible? Right below in a comment box.

I think a lot of people (myself included) struggle with what furniture to have with certain styles of black beds, so I like sharing photos I’ve saved … for OPs and others who might be in the same boat. Just for inspiration.
