Here are before and after pics of the fireplace wall that troubled me. I wanted the blue tile to stand out better against the dark wood. Thank you to all who provided input, especially about painting the greige wall blue to match the tile. I’m very happy with the results. The paint job, done professionally, was my 2023 Christmas present from mu husband.
