I am finishing my basement. I’m wondering if I should bite the bullet and swap out the old 60 year old powder room copper drain pipes for plastic while I still have easy access before I wall them up.

From what I can tell the pipes are just fine. No leaks. The vertical run leading to the clean out seems like thinner copper compared to the horizontal runs. When I flick it with my finger it seems flimsier. Not sure if that’s expected or not.

What do you guys think? Change them or leave them?
