Improvement to current plans

1. What kind of windows would you install in the main bedroom facing the main side entry? Tinted or normal window opening the top?
2. Would you install the toilet in the social/laundry at the other end?

If you have the inspiration view I'd alter the design to preserve it. I'd use the walkway at the top of the house without the new gate as the only front to back and entrance walkway. Delete the bottom walkway from the street and replace with landscape plantings or grass. Use the driveway as the street access walk. This adds a privacy feeling. The walkway on that side of the house is 32.28" or 0.82m wide to the lot line. Enter through the left space used for the bathroom. Use the right side of that space as a closet for the bedroom.

Move the new master bedroom door closer to the closet and use the old entrance as a laundry with stacked washer/dryer. Move the lounge into the old laundry space and add the second bath into the right end of the old lounge space.

I'd use clerestory windows across the top of the second bedroom with one end down to create an egress window. Block the lower portion of the egress window with interior wood shutters or curtains for privacy.

New construction? Have a floor plan that is simpler, showing just rooms, dimensions, windows and doors that are readable? Balance of window types? Exterior elevations?

Based on their other threads this is the house before the front porch was enclosed to make it a bath and everything was painted white. sigh As to the current question typically I would have the bedroom windows match the other windows in the house and control privacy with window treatments as needed but we have so little information.

A bit hard to read the details, but I would guess this is not in the USA and not how most here would arrange a house, so we might not be the best people to offer advice.

I think with the pool and cabana this can be a substantial improvement in livability. Especially as it appears to be in an older densely developed urban location. My suggestions bring it away from traditional public designs from the past and get more personal use from the space in line with the pool upgraded lifestyle.

That's hard to read. My one suggestion: Consider a covered porch leading to the pool instead of a cabana in the yard. Being able to avoid the elements while leaving the house is a wonderful feature.
