Found a intact label. I don't know if Pendelton had a "rule" about where on a blanket the label would be stitched. I don't sew, but your blanket is "serged" (if that is the correct term) and the one I posted doesn't.

Some one will know, but, regardless, you have a nice blanket.

If not a Pendleton, would be shocked! and gorgeous! Not all have the flat welt hem. Someone has been a little rough caring for it, as the pile is a little loose. Dry clean and enjoy!

oh thank you so much Elizabeth! Guess where I found it yesterday? At the Goodwill Bins/Outlet in Grand Rapids, MI!! It's so clean, minimal odor. It just smells like a wool blanket that's been stored for years. It's lovely but I would not use it so I might try Ebay. I wish the tag was on it.

@Kat, nice find!! Actually found mine at Goodwill too, lol. It’s a smaller throw size but the pink matches my LR so I got lucky. Gotta love thrifting!

It's very interesting - did you already try an image search? I did and came across these:

Mt. Rainier - from their national parks collection - however, theirs has only 2 black stripes and yours has 4, which makes me think it may be a knockoff - or just from a different company?

There are other companies, of course - Hudson Bay, L.L.Bean, Plessis, etc...

@s m I love the pic with the cat! We have 5. yes, 5, lol. I'm keeping that blanket in a clean bag so hair doesn't get on it. I'm going to put it up for sale on ebay. I appreciate all the info!!!

@elcieg thank you! I don't know if the pendelton tags are stitched all the way around, or stitched just on the corners. So maybe it is by another manufacturer.
