It's not from hands. Dirty seam is still a failure.

Sad. They used the wrong color. Sad because that's otherwise a nice product.

I can't type on my phone. My sister thought it could have been from the guys hands because they were filthy.

She has reached out to their cabinet place and expressed her concerns. I am not sure if the company has all of their $$ but they reiterated that they would make it right. They also have an issue where one small section next to the stove has a random rounded corner where everything else is square.

The counters were a tight fit getting them into place and she is concerned about damage if they need to be removed. Happy with them otherwise.

This is a 50 yo ranch they just bought that had the original wood cabinets still. That are happy to have more function in the kitchen.

How does your sister feel about those dark irregular crack looking lines on each side of the light colored seam?

Your expectations need to be reset as to what is physically accomplishable. The seam is EXCELLENT. That's very slightly a darker color epoxy than would be optimum. Seams in white material are never invisible.

The problem is the use of clear epoxy/polyester; completely inappropriate color and adhesive.

The installer should have entered the manufacturer's product name into Integra Adhesive's color selection chart. They would have been recommended a two-part Methyl methacrylate adhesive that would have been as good a color match as possible.

Men are 16 times more likely to be color blind than women; it's genetic. We need all the help we can get.

It's a shame, because the seam appears tight and flush otherwise. They may try to release the adhesive with heat. It can be done, but overheating can ruin the factory finish on the deck. Take note in low level light please. I'd cut it loose with a vacuumed track saw and hope I could get away with the missing 1/8" saw kerf.
