I would get solar shades for the window and move the TV to the wall opposite the windows. It is difficult to watch TV sideways like you have it now. Get a console at least 25% wider than the TV. I would move the clock to the left of the slider. Move a sofa to the wall where the TV is now. Put just the flower print centered over it. Remove the round shelf to another room and leave the wall shelf empty. Too many small items in a small room make it feel smaller. A larger rug would be better. And don't push the sofa against the windows. The curtains should hang freely. Not sure why there are pendant lights up so high?? You need some lamps, maybe a floor lamps in the corner where the clock is now.

I agree as suggested above add solar shades and exchange the sofa for the TV and stand. That would change the sofa configuration to an L shape. That way you would have a straight on viewing if you placed the TV across from the window. You could even make the TV a gallery wall for interest. A longer credenza under the TV might look very nice.

The other option that came to mind is putting the TV on the wall opposite the windows and putting a chair or two on that same wall angled for conversation. The reason I thought of that is because the sofa figuration that you have now is nicely conducive to conversation. In that case you could possibly hang the TV on the wall without a credenza or with a very minimal credenza and have more room for chairs and the two sofas. Perhaps one sofa might have to go but I don't know the measurements.

Your accessories are a bit fussy.

The rug is too small for the seating. Everything shouldn't look like it's perched around the rug.

I'd select a rug that had some of the taupe color of the sofas.

I'd select a long low TV cabinet and install a larger TV on top.

I don't know why you have mini pendants hanging from the celing. But I think your room requires some large art on the wall and a way to illuminate it

Your room is perfect for a sectional. I suggest a left facing chaise and positioned in front of the window. That will give you the opportunity to put the t v on the solid wall. Pull it out from the window so you can pull the draperies if you want to view the t v during daylight. Add a coffee table.

Remove the pendants and replace with down lights on a dimmer. You could design the wall something like this photo. Using a wide, low profile console would simplify your decor.

Not sure your two sofas will fit perpendicular to one another.

Why not have one of the sofas face the tv(tv in current location).

I ended up switching TV to large wall looks so much better. I’m on a budget so not looking to replace furniture trying to work with what I have
