May we have measurements of the room that include each wall length, windows, doors and opening measurements. That will help a lot! We can put together a 3d rendition once we have the measurements. A hand drawn sketch work well.

Have you tried putting the piano on the wall to the right of the arched opening? Beautiful room. Lots of nice natural light. This room has lots of potential. Do you have a blueprint you can take a picture of?

The room has been built. I am working on the furniture layout now. How many guests do you want to accommodate? I would like to double check my math. Can you please take a tape measure to the wall of windows from corner to corner? Just wanted to double check. Thank you.

You have so nice and big enough room, but your furniture look a squished in it. Always aim to leave about 18” between your sofa and table. This provides enough leg room and an ideal range to lean over when grabbing something.

Wow Mae, thank you SO much! I apologize for my lack of response as I’ve been at work. I am stunned to see a 3D rendition of this space. It’s an older house that had dirty gray carpet and tile with gray walls and massive mismatched 90s window fashions throughout when we purchased… I didn’t realize there was so much potential in this room!! You’ve truly gone above and beyond to help me visualize an alternative!

Celery, the furniture was indeed unusually pushed together as we moved in recently and had been storing our kitchen items in this room through a renovation. Your photo is a gorgeous suggestion and really persuading me to do low built-ins with shelves!
