We have a lovely fireplace. We use the door to the left to get into the playroom but we don’t use the door on the right at all.

In fact- I would love to remove the door and replace with a beautiful built-in unit.

Given the fact that the fireplace is not one width all the way up and we have a coffered roof- any suggestions on how to add a built in bookcase and cabinets to replace the right door area?

I love an arched built-in but really at a loss of how to add anything seamlessly!

I would love any design advice!
