Dawn, I'm in the same predicament. Looks like $5-6K more for the higher BTU upto 20K on the dual fuel range burners or stick with the gas range, with max of 15KBTU on the burners. There are other differences as well but for someone like me who does very little baking and almost all cooking on the range top this is what it comes down to. From my reading the 20K BTU burner may be important for high heat sears like a steak and that 15K is adequate for most home cooking. I hope, folks with personal experience will respond!

I too am trying to decide about purchasing a Wolf range. I’ve always had electric but really want the gas cooktop. Is the dual fuel worth the extra $$?

I always had electric oven in the past. This one is all gas. I think the meat comes out nicer in gas oven. I am not a big baker but cookies, coffee cake comes out ok.
