We had a new ThremaTru triple locking fiberglass front entry door installed a few years ago, and the carpenter picked out new simple outside door trim. We are quite happy with the new look. We painted the door with Behr’s “Baby Spinach”, for a nice pop of color. Best of luck on your journey!

Does that trim come separately

Cut the siding back the thickness of the new PVC trim, reinstall the "J" channel over the cut siding ends (you'll need a longer matching piece at the head jamb). Don't butt it tightly: vinyl siding needs room to move. Install the new casing in the gap.
