I've had California closets in my previous homes. In my current home, I'm pretty sure the previous owners got their closet systems at the Container Store. They did all the closets in my home, including a downstairs storage area. I actually love my current closet system much more. I won't post a picture of my closets as that's too personal, but this is an example picture of the system I have. Might be worth a look.

Were you happy with your California Closet systems?

@Nichole Campos.....yes, but I didn't have the mesh drawers and I prefer that air gets circulated through the mesh. Also I wasn't in the homes for more than 5 years, so I don't know long term. One thing I would NEVER do again is pull down racks. (a home closet that wasn't a California closet system) I had a 12 ft ceiling in the master closet and thought is was a great idea to take advantage of the tall space. Those pull down racks have a weight limit. If there's a next time, I would just do a fixed pole and use a hanger retriever pole to access. Honestly, if I had to do anything over again, I would choose my current closet system.

Thank you so much for the insight!
