I would make the builder correct the door, so that it matches the specifications. The delay in the project will be negligible, when compared to staring at the wrong door(s) for the next 10, 20 or 30+ years.

This is not a solution, but it may be helpful to note that the view out the bottom of the large openings are of the floor of the porch, and the view out the top of the large openings are of the ceiling of the porch. Assuming the views of the ceiling and floor was not the desired views that prompted such large openings, you can afford, as far as views go, to make the openings smaller.

What about ordering a custom 92" door and let him pay the difference.

I have a similar problem in our project. I’m hoping we can fix this with the wood trim that will go around it all. My door is 8’ tall, 10’ ceiling and the top of door was supposed to align with the windows. I think the mistake occurred because we changed our floor height.

I ahve to agree about the view out of those windows so not sure what the bigissue is they look aligned to me what exacly I am I looking at windows on either side of the door all the tops lined up

Move the windows down to meet the door height. It has the least delay, least cost, and who wants to see the roof of the porch anyway? Because that's all you see out of the top of the windows.
