straight lay or Brick lay (bathroom tile)

I have to decide whether or not I want to lay my bathroom tile straight or brick patterned. I really like the look of it straight for the shower, but I feel like it may look goofy for the floor. I love a modern / uniform look, but I can’t decide!!! What do y’all think? Straight tile or brick layout? I am using the same tile for both the floor and shower
