Can you please help us decide?

Our dining table is parallel to our kitchen island and they are pretty close to each other as you can see. Our kitchen is not that big. We already have the black light fixture over the dining table. So to avoid overcrowding we thought maybe we'll get 3 semi-flush lights over the kitchen island instead of pendants? Yay or Nay? or other ideas? (we like the dining fixture so would like to keep it)
