You should be the one picking out everything, not them. If you plan on using them, you need to have a long talk with them. How do you know, you even want those cabinets. What is the quality of them. The way it is, they can do anything. Waiting 7 months is ridiculous. That should have been handled quickly. No one should have to live with nothing being done for 7 months after a disaster, when they have insurance. Hopefully, you have the insurance check, and not them. If not, make sure the insurance company doesnt pay them, before you see the work.

What does your contract say about timelines and a project schedule? Did you hire or is this thru the insurance company? If thru the insurance company, call your broker.
