I think the two finishes look good together. It’s new to you so seems more striking than it is. That effect happens even more if you haven’t moved into the kitchen and the counters are bare and it’s not lived in. I bet in a couple weeks you’ll think it looks great.

Great point - once there is more to look at on the counter and in the kitchen - it won’t be the only thing I focus on.

Yes, matchy matchy is not always ideal. It is not clashy clashy, so should be all good, particularly since it is not like the brasses are right next to each other. I have a Kohler faucet in vibrant moderne brass and hickory hardware (brushed gold, maybe?) - not a match but everything coordinates fine. Nobody has ever walked into my kitchen and been horrified.

Give yourself a couple of weeks to get used to them. From the photos, they do look like they will work together.

I’m sure with the kitchen getting filled with your stuff, it will offset the concentration on these two brasses.
