What a beautuful setting! I think the best invesment to add rustic personality to your home is to work with a xeriscape landscaping company to map out a planting plan that can be implemented over time. The house itself is lovely as is. It’s the surrounding landscape that will make it sing.

Wow, I never thought of that! I was focusing on the house itself, but I agree with xeriscaping! Less mowing up a hill, too!

I think landscaping is super important and should be the focus. But I think adding a portico and new porch posts.
Maybe a swing, and some new lighting etc… can add to the curb appeal.

Repaint the whole porch structure white to match the trim, otherwise you need great landscaping. The house itself is fine.
