Looking at a new home, and the kitchen has painted white cabinets (original maple wood) with old style (brown/black granite).

The granite looks in good shape, although outdated. The cabinets although has old design, looks in good shape. The present backsplash is tan color stone with wide grout.

I am looking for suggestions to update the backsplash that can blend in with white cabinets and brown/black busy granite.
