Knobs vs Pulls on Wide Drawers

We are do kitchen remodel and have many large drawers (30" wide) in the plan, they have heavy duty hardware and soft close. Cabinets will be framed and inset.

I am seeing a lot of kitchens where they use all knobs and no pulls. My wife and I really like the look but are not sure of the functionality. I am looking for any advice or people's experiences using only knobs.

Here are some examples of the inspiration:

I like handles on doors and knobs on drawers. My 30 inch drawers have two knobs, like the first picture you posted.

Single pull for sure. Think about it - one hand is full of stuff and you want to open a drawer...

I imagine there's less crud and finger residue going on a cabinet that has a pull vs a knob.

IMO using two hands to open a drawer is just bad planning. I use pulls on everything but in a more traditional kitcehn knobs on doors and pulls on drawers would always be my choice

My previous house had all knobs and current house has all pulls. They both functioned fine for opening drawers and cabinets. I think like someone else mentioned with pulls there is less chance of transferring gunk that may be on your fingers onto cabinet than with knobs. I have also been known to occasionally open the trash pull out with my foot. It is easier to do with a pull.

Our general approach was pulls on drawers and knobs on doors, except for our pantry wall where we did all knobs (but the drawers aren't very wide).

A single centered pull on all the drawers, and nine inches works great, with six inches same pull on uppers

Or......nine inch pull on all drawers and a companion knob on upper cabs.

That allows A ONE HAND opening of a drawer WITH THE LEAST CLUTTERED LOOK. Either: )

If you are traditional to the maximum?

Use all knobs, two on the drawers , but I would ONLY do that with glass knobs that visually "disappear"......or live with a really spotty result: )

My preference is single pulls on drawers because I find them easier to use one-handed. Whichever you prefer, make sure that your elevations show whatever placement you want. Right now, your elevation shows pulls jammed right under the rail on the upper drawers (not as visually appealing as centered on a shallow drawer, IMO) and placed near the bottoms of the lower drawers, which would be awkward to use.

You could consider pulls on drawers and knobs on doors.
