I need to see the space and the drawing does not really give me a feel for the space . I hate hall trees with all the eye clutter when you enter a nice closet with space to hide all the stuff is IMO much nicer but is this the family entry of for guests ? IMO from what I see you need 3 lights one above the door one in the hall leading to the LR and one in the hall thta has the bathroomand bedroom entry . IMO all the same ceiling hugger type but the one going into the LR can be a bit of a star. Or do something like this it has choices of how many lights so 2 smaller ones and a larger one for the LR entry These are from a company called bulbsquare. I have no idea about your style so just guessing and BTW I rarely like wall sconces but at least post a pic of those if you have them

Thanks Patricia. I checked out those lights. We like them! The irregular shape will maybe help with placement too. I attached another showing how we might place them. Would you be willing to scribble on it showing where you would place the lights?

The front door has a small window to one side so it is not perfectly centered on the hall. Should the lights closest to door be centered to the door or hallway or somewhere in between? the swing of front door will be changed to how plans show as well.

Attached pics. We are waiting on lighting to finish running wires. Front door/ floors / carpet are all being replaced/updated.

Not sure ho to add to the drawing but I sure wich you would get a nice front door those builder doors are never nice and for sure not in a modern space . The lights comein so many different sizes they should be pretty flexibla to put where the light is needed I would do a light centered on the door for sure . I think the large one in the hall going to the LR is good I might do 2 headed ones for the rest .
