Does it match the high boy? Better if it is the same style, etc. Visually to me the high piece would look better on the left and low piece on the right not blocking what looks like a window seat.

Maybe trade in those pieces and get ONE piece that better fits the space and gives you more storage.

They’re both quite big. One piece would not be able to have the same storage unfortunately

We have a low boy and a high boy side by side. They need to be compatible styles, but otherwise, what's the issue? Function first. I think it will look very natural to have a low wide dresser under those prints, with a lamp at one end, etc. I'l mock it up for you.

Could you rotate the high boy and put it on the other side of the wall jut-out, where that stripey stuff is?

That is what we will do. Other wall has window that spans the length of the room with no room for highboy and the picture is taken from the bed (king size with side tables leave no room on sides of bed.
