Furniture from Casco Bay Furniture.

Furniture arrived from Casco Bay. My expectations were high but the sofas (Jasper) are just beautiful. It was definitely worth the wait to have them built for us. Ron at Casco Bay was so helpful and guided us through the process. The sofas are very comfortable but very solid. The delivery was very professional. These will be heirloom pieces for my family.

After discussing this with Joanie we determined that her sofa seat cushions were out of spec. We are replacing her cushions with Ultracel Spring Down Cushions.

The Ultracel Spring Down Cushion is in our opinion one of the best cushions offered in the industry. Inside each of Joanies cushions there will be a series of coil springs, each spring is encased in fabric, collectively the springs are then covered in 3/4" blanket of fiberfill, and this is set in a pocket of Ultracel Soy Based Foam which is then wrapped in a sterilized down blend, all of which is covered in a down proof ticking.

I have a sofa from Casco Bay...it's very nice leather . However the cushions have not held up ..we have had it under 3 years . It only get sat on 3 days a week by one person ( not heavy) you roll toward the center! Would not purchase it again.

Dear Joanie, Please call us so that we can discuss your cushions. Your cushions could be out of spec. We offer 6 cushion options, including Ultracel Spring Down cushions which have been tested for 20,000 impressions.

What great customer service. I have been searching for a new couch to replace the couch I bought LAST year. Is your couch heavy?? I don't like when I can lift my couch with ease....weird? Maybe.

Jodi our sofas are made with 5/4 solid maple and or poplar frames often with solid oak corner bracing, true 8 way hand tied hand knotted springs. Our most popular cushion today is an multi-layered Ultracel Spring Down cushions explained above. Most of the sofas are in the 250lb to 275lb weight range so these would be considered heavy.

Joanie1961, did you ever receive your new cushions? What did you think of them? Would you still consider them sink into soft? I do not want a firm cushio, but at the same time would like it to hold up. How are the new spring ones holding up as I see this has been 3 years ago. I really appreciate your input! thank you!

Beautiful sofas, lucywatkins. Can you tell me the arm width? I need to find a sofa that is not too wide for a small room, but still has plenty of seating space to stretch out on.
