We are replacing our surface mounted kitchen cabinet hinges with concealed hinges. We have framed partial overlay doors. The question is in the overlay. When the door is closed there is a 1/2” overlay however the doors have a bevel on the backside of the frame. If we measure with the door closed and mark where the bevel is at it is a 1/4” overlay. Which measurement do we use for the ringgit hinge, a 1/4” or a 1/2”? I don’t want to mess this up.
