For an English-style rental near the forest, I love the tub!

I’d find shower curtains I loved, then add art above the mirror, next to the mirror, and on the wall by the window. Take a color from the shower curtains and use it in a valance, rugs, and towels.

The floor is fine. Change the shower curtains to off-white, replace any missing hooks, buy new tan or white towels, buy new anti-slip rug or have the worn-looking Oriental rug sent out to be cleaned.

Removing the ferns on the wall would be a good change.

It is what it is. I'd just consider styling it differently, but it depends on the view out the window where the blinds are closed.

The location of the tub and sink feels very crowed and I wonder if psychologically it would feel less so if the curtains were resting together on the opposite, which I'll call the fern corner.

Stage it by putting away all products. Get fluffy white hand towels. Remove all baskets and do dads from the ledge of the tub. Get a nice hand soap pump. Remove the fern. You have enough greenery out the window already. Open the other window blind, if the view isn't to revealing. I want to say get a shower curtain to match the wall color instead of bright white, but I also get that this is actually a liner and not a curtain and you will end up seeing a liner no matter what. Get a more neutral less bright liner only if it is high quality and not crappy plastic.
