Looking for help finding just the right chandelier over my dinette table.
The table is 48” wide. The chairs are black, brass and have off white cushions.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Michelle- here are a few ideas. I would lean toward the more modern look of your chairs.

Can you show additional angles of what else is in the room or can be seen from this room - is it open to another space? It all is an important part of the picture.

Your chairs are wonderful. They have a kind of playful yet sophisticated deco vibe. None of these chandeliers are exactly my style, but they may be yours, and would go well with the chairs. I don't see the brass in the chairs but found some brass chandeliers none the less. Some of these come in brass and black.

Depends on your plans for the room, but just based on the set, suggest elegant contemporary.

I really like the first one herblavor shared ( southwestern transitional). I've been scouring the internet for chandeliers as well, so I like that one in your space as it's different but seems to go nicely. The only caveat is that it says 3 lights so not sure if that would be sufficient.

I also like the first one Kendra shared- also different but very attractive in my eyes. It would be too modern for my space, but it's lovely.

More traditional but with a modern flair, I like the first one Maureen shared as well. For classic, I do like the third one (brass right above my post) that Maureen shared.

Funny that it's all the first ones people shared that I am liking the best.

    What do you think?

Thanks for all the suggestions. This is a closer look at the chair showing the brass. The table is 48” in diameter.
We just moved into this house and everything is painted in Agreeable Grey and white woodwork. The room next to it is a hearth room in which we have not yet furnished. The kitchen photo shown shows the counter stools with the same finish as the dinette chairs. Hope this helps. Please note there are no drapes as shown in the photo. They are gone. Thank you!

Can you see the hearth and this chandelier in the same view? The hearth is very homey. It looks like you are trying to lean into more of a contemporary vibe with your chairs and stools. Is this correct? If you can see the hearth and this chandelier together, I'd focus a bit on selecting the hearth room furniture and this chandelier in conjunction with each other. Remember, Rome was not built in a day and it can take a while for all the pieces to come together in a new house.

Yes Kendra, you can see the hearth room and I’m leaning g towards contemporary. You are so right about Rome was not built in a day. This is so challenging!! Thank you!!

Glad that the Rome comment was remotely helpful because I sort of sounded like my mom there! It is really overwhelming and I understand wanting it done in the snap of a finger. It is a lot easier if you have style that matches the features of your house, but it sounds like you have some vision and interesting choices you want to make and I applaud you for having your own aesthetic, even if it makes things take ten times longer.

After seeing the adjoining space, suggest a chandelier with a lighter feel/doesn’t interrupt the sightlines, while highlighting your lovely chairs. Just an example below style wise (as it’s probably too big).

    Nice but too wide.

That first picposted by herbflavor is the light I have over my black round kitchen table. Good suggestion!
