The plant will less stressed if you move it in early spring before it leaves are out.

My experience with Rhubarb is that it is tough, so I'd just transplant it now and water it well. And it's pretty cheap, so if it dies, the cost of replacing it isn't that great.

I transplanted one a week ago and it just kept on growing!

move one.. and let us know..

leave the other until fall.. and move it then ... you will at least get a crop out of the one you leave ...

the general rule across the gardening universe .. is to move things after flowering... shrubs ... lilac... .. iris.. perennials.. etc ...

so.. if harvest of the plant is the flower.. then.. move it after you harvest...

but if it is unkillable.. then try one now..

Ken, I think that rule is intended to preserve the season of bloom as much as reduce the stress on the plant. I find moving anything once it is hot is asking for trouble. Less risky to move in fall or early spring as growth begins. If hou do it now, Be sure to water copiously and provide shade.

Do it now - don't wait till autumn (ask me how I know). It will have a much better chance to establish if moved now...just keep it well watered for the summer.

Yes, that's what I mean. I assumed people would know my plant doesn't look like a porcupine now, with stalks sticking out all over. :-)

I always found that interesting ie two parts of a plant, so close in proximity with one yummy and the other poisonous.
