Hello,

Painting whole house over summer. So you will find me again asking tons of questions. Bear with me.

Masterbedroom (Enough natural light and south-west)

- I guess no white ceiling since ceiling is already accent. So color for both walls and ceiling.

- Headboard gray/taupe without sunlight snd creamy white in sunlight

- Rug is cool beige

- Tried to find color which will work both with headboard and rug. Got paper samples. Will surely try actual samples later

- May use dusty mauve type comforter/bedsheet etc.

- Which one looks better? I like Fog mist, Wind’s breath and White sand. Let me know.

It is really too hard to tell the subtle differences in these colors online. I would paint the entire ceiling the same color as the walls. I would not paint the trim inside the ceiling dome and would not paint the trim that outlines the ceiling dome. It is all too intricate for the size room you have. The trim will still stand out even if it is the same color. Your rooms will look much bigger and less choppy. Maybe someone here and do a rendering for you.

regardless of the color you choose, I would paint all the trim, walls and ceiling the same color... what you have now is too much accent with the trim. at the very least, paint everything from the crown up the same color.

I would also replace the ceiling fan or paint it to blend with ceiling. How about a chandeilier?

You might look at painting the ceiling, trim, and walls all the same color. You don't need the small trim pieces on the ceiling to stand out. Below are two bedrooms we have designed and we think the paint colors used might help you make a paint decision.
