Where will the door to the shower be? On the ladder wall or on the tub wall? I do like the idea of hooks to the left of the tub. I have had bars and hooks and am surprised that hooks dry faster and my towels feel fresher. However, you want them in a place that is ready for you when you step out of the shower.

The door to the shower will be facing the bathtub. It will be a barn door style slider.

There's no wall to hang thm n when you exit the shower since the exit will be facing the tub. Would you have hooks installed on the outside of the glass next to the tub?

My towel is right near the shower door, but I always hang it on the shower door handle before I enter the shower. You could use a ladder style handle or a horizontal handle that can hold a towel.

Don’t put towel hooks on the shower glass. Hooks or bars on the wall next to the tub for towels. Looks like only one to two steps out of the shower to reach a towel. If that’s too far, just throw it on the floor right outside the shower door before you get in!
