Wow! I love that first garden shot! Is that SC Francis Busby at the front of it? And what a magnificent clump of Deliverer to end the post! My favorite bloom here is Madera Gold. I remember liking it last year too. All the group shots are a feast for the eyes.

Madera Gold I see is a Reimer. Supposedly a slow grower, but yours looks great. Weeding always seems to go faster when it's done with a friend.

Thank you both so much! Yes, Debra. You know how much I like Fraancis Bacon and I like to shot across it and the other group in the left front...That particular shot is now the background of my computer. I really like Madera Gold and am waiting for Pattern a la Carte to bloom.

Mantis, you are so right. It is a Reimer and this is the second ye4ar for it, I think. I have several of his in one area and like the large, flat, open blooms. Mr. Reimer is quite a gardener in Arkansas and the photos of his place are worth a look. He grows vegetables as well as the daylilies. I would like to visit it, but my husband is no longer able to travel.

You are right, Weeding des go faster with a friend and she is an excellent gardener, and a good friend for many years. She really wanted to see the blooms at a peak and there were 662 when I pulled them tonight, so she managed to see them at pretty well a peak.

Thank you Maryl. not only is EXtreme Tangerine tall and straight but Muy Caioente which is just beginning to bloom is one of the tallest i the garden and iit has increased dramatically. Madera Gold was a favorite from its first bloom. The big flat blooms and the colors are sucha a visual pleasure.

Beautiful! You can't tell that the flowers just went through a bad storm. That clump of Deliver is amazing. I too also like Madera--what a pretty eye! Rosemarie Louise is also pretty. We grow it, but it hasn't gotten to clump strength yet. I also like Cat Calls.

Thanks for including Extreme Tangerine. I like hearing how ours do in other climates. Muy Caliente is a weed here too. Unfortunately, it is one of those daylilies that is very hard to divide.

I'm glad you got some weeding done. What a nice friend to help you with that task.

Thank you Julia and Nancy. Well, I was blessed that the majority of the damage was shredded blooms but the taller ones had snapped and badly bent stems, but I do have a few have circle to assist a leaning blooms and the storm did make a couple of Extreme Tangerine stems lean way over but the little support fixes that Julia. I am up to the 660s every day for the blooms that I pull each night so it does show up and I do have folks stopping t see the garden.

I am pleased that Muy Caliente is so strong., Nancy since I do love the color. My friend actually wore me down with the weeding. She is an excellent gardener that I introduced to daylilies although I did warn her that they were addictive. She was like a kid at Christmas going around taking photos of the blooms and the labels too.. It was fun and very helpful. WE have been friends for many years and we enjoy each others company as do our husbands.

Thank you for your comment, Mantis. I have had no problems with Judge Judy but that area does get late afternoon shade, which, of course, might explain it.
