hello, apparently it should be possible, the only thing that you need to keep on the right side (current bathroom) is the toilet cause the waste pipe is there

also, what do you guys think of creating a small "entrance hall" ? to avoid entering the flat and being in front of a wall within the corridor - thanks

Hi Jon - with 3m high ceilings - it's worth considering having beds on mezzanine too ? Re moving all the walls also plumbing - this has implications on the other flats in the same building - sometimes there's covernants regarding this too - have you see what's possible or if there's any restrictions ?!

Ok - nothing on tv tonight so thought I'd play around with this ... This is with just a bit of tweaking of the plumbing - which I'm still not convinced is possible - and couple of walls moved - but I went with it ...
It's just a concept ...on basic software - not my usual work software ( as I'm doing this just for fun ) it's pretty much what you wanted ?! You could add tonnes and tonnes of storage by adding mezzanines in the bedrooms - but factors such as window height will need to be considered if you do this ?!?!

Hi One Plan, thanks a lot for working on it; appreciate ! this is kind of what I thought about apart that in my mind the kitchen was going to stay where it currently is... but your idea is a good one as a concept, i totally agree...I would need to check if this is feasible in terms of plumbing. One point that may be "strange" is when you enter the living room, you kind of get right into the kitchen part. Will think about it while sleeping tonite :) any other nice similar idea welcomed ! thanks a lot

Out of interest - how high do the windows in the bedrooms go up ?! Am thinking of a way of lowering costs by keeping bedroom1, kitchen and bathroom where they are. Enlarging bathroom or adding ensiute or walk in wardrobe for master where second bedroom was and having a second sleep space above the bathrooms/ old second bedroom IYSWIM ?!? That would work if the second sleep space as just a guest room rather than a permanent room... Technically it would be a fabulous one bedroom with a guest sleep space rather than a two bedroom - it's difficult to guess your lifestyle - if you have a family then this is impractical - but if you are a young free and single and want a man cave this would be terrific ?! But if you are doing up to sell then just update the kitchen and bathroom and maybe add mezzanine for storage ...

It's not free - about £7 !! Interior design for iPad ! Downloaded it to muck about on and for my daughter to re design her bedroom ! It's not great - but it's ok !!!

hi - thanks a lot for the ideas, i would prefer to keep a window in each room ideally (idea1), and also I dont like having a bedromm close to the kitchen (idea2). what do you think of moving the bathroom between the current living room and master bedroom? I would have create a small entrance hall as well to avoid facing a wall straight in front of you when you enter the flat, happy to get your thoughts, have a nice weekend, thx!

hi... i think its good for you to place the living and the kitchen to left of your entrance and then to the right you could place the bathroom in the center and have the bedrooms on either sides in a L shape...jus check for the plumbing lines etc

I really like Aggie's plan, but I'm just not convinced that the bath can be moved so far from the stack. Are you on the first floor? Is there a basement?If it can be done - it's a great design!

my thought here was to reverse the plan. there would still be plumbing where the existing bath was located to serve the kitchen, the bedrooms turn out to be generously sized, and you now enter the unit into a living space versus a hallway near the bedrooms.

nice idea Will, only thing is that the top part of the flat is where the steet is, so ideally rooms shld stay on the bottom part, which is going to be more quiet

also, not sure we can move the toilets from where they are currently (waste pipe etc...)
