Originally i hoped to plant a pale purplish shrub rose in my yard, how the ones I found did not seem to do that well in heat and all day sun with no shade. I thought poseidon would work, but I read it would wilt on heat, and love so g isn't in my zone(6b/NY). I found some other purples and pinkish purples that might work.
Purples:Blue Skies; Blue Moon, Lavender Veranda, Violets Pride, Ebb Tide, and celestial Night.
Pinkish-Purples:Angel Face, Perfume Factory, vineyard Song, Sister Emnanuelle, Kendyl Marie, Paris de Yves St Laurent, Deja Blue, Sweet Madeemoiselle, and Pretty Lady.
Will a multicolor like the pinkish purples grow in the sin and heat more than the purples(or just pale purple)? Has anybody grown these and prefers one over another? I need sun/heat tolerant and doesn't need wintertime protection.
