Hi All,

In a remodel and we are struggling to place an air register (supply) in a bedroom upstairs. Ideally, we want it centred (on the floor) below the window for maximum efficiency. We haven't built our kitchen yet (it's directly below), but this centred window placement would require significant changes to our design (which was very difficult to get to given our main floor layout).

Would it be terrible to have the register about 1-2 feet to the side of the window? It will still be on the exterior wall. I'm not sure if it's worth changing our kitchen design for.

Any advice helps!! We are in Toronto (hot/cold climate) in case that's important to know.
