Are the new winodws going to be white? Is the siding vinyl? Do you have a preferred vinyl siding manufacturer and product line in mind if it is going to vinyl?

We will get 5 inch dutch lap vinyl siding. Windows will be white. No specific manufacturer.

These two dutch colonial houses have light siding or stucco and dark wood elsewhere. Provia Dutch Lap siding is available in light (and other) colors.

Might want to choose manufacturer first.

Because that totally dictates color options - many even have regional color palettes.

Nothing more disappointing than choosing your dream color palette on Pinterest only to find out you can't get those colors in the product you - or contractor - wants to use.

Thank you for all of this great advice! Will white be too much of a contrast with the color of our roof? I really prefer light/neutral siding colors. Our house is obviously largely roof so I don't want to select the wrong color scheme.We can't afford to redo our roof at this point so we are stuck with the current color. I would prefer a lighter brown color I believe. What are thoughts on gutters in the future? Any specific design apps recommended so that I can see what the final result will look like?

I like the color of the roof, I would not want it lighter. I would choose cream, if the windows are going to be white. All white would be a bit blah and uninteresting, at least to me.
