Hello, I have a flat fiberglass rooftop deck. I was told by a roofer to put down a rug to extend the life of the roof and protect from scratches. I understand synthetic (polypropylene) is the way to go for a rug; however, doesn't water still get trapped underneath the rug during/after rain? Is that bad for the fiberglass roof?
