Can you take a pic of your floor sample on the floor next to the different cabinets with the samples on top of them? I presume you will pick your splash tile and wall color last.

@Herbflavor - You're right, the sample on the left does lean yellow. Definitely not what we want! Thanks for weighing in.

@kendrah - we don't have floor samples yet. Will be going with live sawn oak with a clear finish–lighter than the wood cabinets. Walls are Chantilly Lace. Backsplash will be selected after kitchen install.

I would do the right quartz. Chantilly Lace is a really bright white. The left quartz will look off in comparison to Chantilly Lace as it's a bit warmer. If you were just doing the oak cabinets, the left quartz would be fine. But because you're also integrating Chantilly Lace cabinets (and Chantilly Lace wall color - though wall color is easy to change), using the right quartz is preferable.

That left one has yellow-green highlighter undertone!

I would get a sample of your floors: I subscribe to the idea that your floors and your countertops should be married. Not match, per se, but married. Make sure the undertones match one another.

@mtwren what did you choose? we are going with a similar color scheme. we will have lighter wood floors so want to make sure its not too much wood too

Look at MSI Calacatta Mirraggio Gold. I don't care for either of those.

@Kmk07 K We are now considering two different options 🤪 Unless I get suggestions here to go back to the drawing board, we've narrowed it down to these Caesarstone options:

• Frosty Carrina
• Caesarstone Organic White

Both are very mellow as far as detail/movement. Would love folks' thoughts on how they look with our white cabinets. I've tried to take photos from different angles.

Floors are next, so no samples to share. I want to get on the countertop fabricator's schedule to ensure install happens by end of summer.

I personally liked the first one up on the left. That being said, we do really need to see a floor sample. Also, if you can get a pic of your options in a little better light, that would be great. That may not be possible....

Both are very nice with the oak and the white cabinets. The Frosty Carrina is more of a contrast with the white.

Thanks for getting back to me about which countertops youre going with i like the one one the right with more natural veining. But either one you cant go wrong!

The white color is more gorgeous. We are doing our kitchen also and have chosen the same color. We have the same kitchen doors. It's so beautiful! We do not regret our choice. I used to take conservative choice but not now.

If you choose the white one, make sure your backsplash fit with your floor. They must fit together (it's our designer recommendations). In our case, I want a more French kitchen. So, if we choose herringbone style for the floor (in wood or ceramic) we have to choose a backsplash who is "more simple".

If we choose a backsplash more "distractive", "more busy", we have to put something who do not get attention on the floor. You have a better idea now how things are working together in the kitchen.

Another aspect you have to think, the color of your faucet, handles, etc. Their color are really important. Golden color, dark copper color for example, are popular in beautiful kitchen. They must fit together. So think about choosing one appropriate style. Those accessories can be expensive so make a great choice. Have a good renovation.
