I wanted a brick look for my mudroom floor and was steered towards a travertine tile. It is being installed already. I was rushed to decide and purchase so I didn’t have time to research. Now I’m worried about travertine being in such a high traffic area. It’s beautiful but how can I ensure its durability and achieve the brick look I wanted? Do I have the holes filled with grout, and then seal? Help with colors would be appreciated to. I am hoping for iron ore painted cabs. First photo is my floor. Second and third pics are what I originally wanting.
