If you want a neutral shutter, then it must be a darker, less colorful color from the same hue family as the body.

Thank you. The front door is SW Iron ore. The shutter color is Gauntlet Gray. I am unable to remove the shutters without residing and restoning, unfortunately.

I agree with Patricia Caldwell. My first reaction was that I would remove the shutters altogether.
