Where are you located geographically? Does Tragopogon dubius grow in your area? Hard to see but I think it is covered in aphids which would account for the leaf distortion.

We are in Hungary. I have never seen one of these. We have a garden that has too many weeds, but this is not one of them. And I don't see them in the field behind us either.

Is this something that would be planted as a flowering plant? Or is this something that just happened to fall into the pot?

My wife just looked on a local forum. The Tragopogon dubius, what you thought it was, does look a lot like this. People on the local forum said it is a weed, it looks not too bad, but when the seeds drop you will have a lot more of them. Hmm... do you agree with the locals' opinion that it's a weed and there will be a lot more of them? It sounds like I should probably get rid of this one.

The seeds fly like dandelions, rather than dropping. It could have come from some distance. And yes, you will have a lot more if this one goes to seed. Another member of the genus gives us the vegetable Salsify, but that too self sows like crazy.
