Garlic growing question

I can't quite remember what I had and it might have been seed from a garlic scape I never removed. i planted a row of these inside my small high tunnel. this year, maybe two or three years later I see small scapes. i've never dug up the originals. should I leave the very young garlic plants for another year or dig up at end of July and divide and replant cloves if any have formed bulbs?

You can pull a couple and see what they look like. I not sure what size you have, but if you goal is to grow large plants/ cloves you should divide and replant like normal.

Where are you located? My hardnecks are just putting up scapes now in NY. I typically harvest around July 4. I don’t plant again until mid October.

I'm in NH. my refular garlic is just starting to make scapes. i'm zone 5. and, ues, I typically harvest mid July and plant cloves in October. I'll pull some,of these babies to see what kind od bulb development there is.
