My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
NCHFP says, 'Blackberries, blueberries, currants, dewberries, gooseberries, huckleberries, loganberries, mulberries, raspberries. Use these directions only with the berries listed.'
And has no listing for unsweetened strawberries
Thank you for any help! Sad to see how Houzz search function has degraded :(
Yes, you can water bath strawberries safely, their pH is 3-3.9, waterbath is for acidic foods with a pH of 4.6 or below is safe to waterbath.
However, and this is a big however, the strawberries will turn mushy and lose color. A little sugar helps, but they just don't can very well. There are no instructions from Ball or CFHFP because the quality doesn't meet most people's standards. There are recipes for jam and syrup and pie filling because the texture is OK for those things.
Of course, the texture is subjective and not objective, so if you want to try it and they aren't too soft for your use, you're good to go.
