Granite Grannies- don't you find that quartzite etches and stains very easily? I would love to install quartzite in my kitchen- I know it can take the heat- but it can not withstand lemons, tomatoes, and coffee.- even with a sealer. What's your opinion? Thanks from a husband and wife who love quartzite and love to cook.

What backsplash would you reccomend for fantasy white quartzite?

I do not find that quartzite etches and stains easily, especially when properly sealed with a speciality sealer like Regent's Zeta Seal. (sorry I didn't see this comment earlier! Wish houzz had notifications).

As a backsplash for fantasy white quartzite, you can't go wrong with a white marble subway tile, perhaps one made from Calacatta Marble or White Carrara.

Thanks very much for your help! What about a marble herringbone or any others in the pics attached? The second is marble strip in Dalomite. The third one is subway tiles. First one in the subway tile pic is a white marble the others are ceramic. Many thanks and Happy New Year!

All look great, but that herringbone is really unique (my personal opinion). I would say if I had to rule one out, it would be the last (the large subway). Not sure I like level of contrast.
