help with an accent color for my dining room ceiling

I’m in the process of painting my dining room (actually my whole downstairs). Transitioning from a creamy off white to alabaster from SW. I had an accent wall painted in the sage color which matched the chairs but am moving toward more blues. I have to keep the chairs and table by the way. That being said, I wanted to change things up and paint the ceiling a blue color but my designer thinks an orangey color will make everything in there pop. I’m not so sure I can do orange on my ceiling. It’s not really me. I’m thinking of a navy or a blue with just a hint of teal but to tell you the truth, I just can’t figure out which blue to go with. I’m considering Smokey blue and have added a picture of a color swatch from Etsy where they have paired that color with complementary colors. I took a screen shot of my curtains which aren’t hung right now. But I’d love some advice. Will the Smokey blue work? Want to get the bowl in picture as an accent piece for my table. Upgrading to a new chandelier. Thanks in advance!
